This followed people whose rosacea had already cleared, to see how long it stayed away after stopping treatment. Those originally treated with ivermectin went a median of 115 days before relapsing, against 85 days for metronidazole. Worth reading the other number too: most people in both groups relapsed eventually (62.7% vs 68.4%), so the difference is in how long the clear spell lasts, not whether it ends. Manufacturer-funded.
